Kolan River Retreat
Lovely tranquil river camp
Beautiful peaceful spot, plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space. Peter was very friendly and helpful and responsive. I enjoyed the fishing and photography if that’s your thing. Good shower and toilets are a bonus too. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back or recommend it to others. There were a few sandflies and mozzies which is to be expected near mangroves but long sleeves, pants and Bushman’s made that a non issue for me.

Had a lovely one night stay here, very beautiful and quiet. Peter was a great host :) we did some fishing, which was a lot of fun, some massive fish in the river! The facilities were good and clean. Definitely recommend staying here 😊
