Lakeview is situated near the seaside village of Beachmere on just under 50 picturesque acres of Australian bushland, 45 minutes from the Brisbane CBD and 10 minutes off the Bruce Highway. Experience the stunning vistas by the three billabongs while nestled in nature. Take nature walks, canoe and swim. Enjoy the flora, native animals and abundant birdlife or just relax by the campfire with the cooling sea breezes to add to the comfort and laid back lifestyle beside your own private open fire. You can have the best of both worlds, the bush on one hand and the bay on the other with Caboolture River boat ramp just 5 minutes away, giving you access to Moreton Bay. So why not kick back and relax away from the stress of city life. Lakeview is a private property not a commercial business, Lakeview is suitable for self-sufficient campers. There are no amenities, so you need to bring or hire your own. All payments are accepted as a donation to help maintain the grounds for our extended Lakeview family. Dogs permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Campfires permitted, see our FAQs in Property Rules. Firewood is available to purchase, Honesty box on site. Please read the cancelation/credit policy as set and prescribed through the hipcamp platform. Unfortunately to keep our bookings viable and our gates open, no special allowance is made for illness, weather, mechanical breakdowns ect. If you have concerns please book last minute

This whole venue is a wee piece of paradise. Site 1 & 1A are powered and are great to provide services for a function. We hired the entire venue for our wedding and it worked out great to be able to have 10 caravans / campers setup on site 2 along with 3 portaloos with still plenty of space to park and drive through.

Fabulous for large group gathering
This whole venue is a wee piece of paradise. Site 2 is a great large site as you enter. We hired the entire venue for our wedding and it worked out great to be able to have 10 caravans / campes setup on site 2 along with 3 portaloos with still plenty of space to park and drive through.

Additions to existing bookings (unpowered)
Beautiful spot by the lake. We were right at home here with canoes to use, water slides, a pool table and tv set up. Everyone had something to do. ☺️

Wonderful camp site with a view!
We had a wonderful stay here. The lake views were absolutely stunning. Each site is on a grassy area, the sites are very generous in size and has a lake view. They have a children’s playground, a slippery dip into the lake, a jumping pad on the lake and kayaks for free use. It’s also a 5km drive to Beachmere Beach! Highly recommend staying!

Peace near the beach
This is the second time I have been to Lakeview. The first was in a tent with my pup Jack Russell. This time in my 12 metre off grid big rig, 3 dogs and a wife 😜 Once again the property was immaculate, each site large, well spaced and mowed. Every site has either a direct water front or set back but with great water views of the large lake. All my dogs went swimming with me every day, (only 1 really enjoys it lol) and my Jack Russell enjoyed another kayak ride. With the Beach being only 5 minutes drive away, Bribie Island 20 minutes drive and Caboolture about the same, your in a totally peaceful yet close to amenities of reqd, location. Beachmere has a couple of really nice cafes and also a good butcher and shopping centre. There's firewood available for a small cost and each site has a fire circle. Altogether a great 5 days. We will be returning for sure. Highly recommended.
