The magical views from the mountain are breathtaking. Have a fire, and party the night away with your nearest and dearest. The stars are incredible and sunsets are amazing. Seven campsites on 130 acres makes this unique spot an opportunity for supreme privacy from many spots on the mountain. Fantastic swimming and fishing in the nearby forestry. Groups up to 15 welcome.We are a small cattle farm on the southern side of Mt Mooloo in Langshaw, Gympie. The views up here are absolutely stunning surrounded by wildlife and glorious trees.  This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. All the privacy any camper could need; run nude with the wind, with lots of open space (quite steep though).  4WD vehicles preferred as the dirt track is very steep to the top of the mountain where your campsite is, at about 400m above sea level. We do have spots closer to sea level for those less adventurous. Enjoy a campfire dinner at sunset or simply relax around the crackling campfire on our paddock camping spots. With the mountain conditions WE DO REQUIRE DAYLIGHT HOURS CHECK-IN PLEASE. Beautiful swimming holes in nearby forestry and creeks.  Your dog is most welcome to join you. Please take any rubbish with you, tiny bits of plastic and rubbish may cause harm to our beautiful cows and native wildlife. I suggest drawing a mud map before coming out as you will lose service about 15 minutes from Gympie however, phone service is accessible in many spots higher up on the 130 acres. Magic on the Mountain
This was one of the most amazing campsites we have visited yet using HipCamp. Shontel was engaging and helpful and we absolutely loved the sunset views. There are other campsites but they are out of side and out of hearing there were people there but we didn’t hear or see them! The cows roaming through the paddock camp were friendly and really added to the experience. Definitely need a 4x4 to get up there especially if its been raining but its an easy drive up. 10/10.

Magic on the Mountain truly is what this Hipcamp offers. Uninterrupted views from top of the mountain, a peaceful and stunning camp. The host is amazing, and very knowledgeable of the local area and places to explore. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise with us all.
