Our property is located in the beautiful Kandanga Valley which is a part of the amazing Mary Valley. Kandanga Creek runs along our property where the camp site are located. We are surrounded by mountains and the Imbil forestry is at the top of our valley. We are only 45 minutes to Noosa, 20 minutes to the Amamoor Country Music Muster, only 1 km to Mitchell Creek Rock and Blues Festival, 15 minutes to Borumba Dam. We own a working Dairy Farm, the next property on from the camping site. Opposite the camping grounds we plant summer feed (White Sorghum Silage) and Winter feed (Oats or Barley). Bring you own fire pits. All weather access road, if towing please use 4WD. Please note we do not have drinking water and that you need to be self-sufficient and bring everything you need with you and take out ALL waste. *All guests (including children) must be added to the booking request. *Children 5 and under are free (noted in message attached to booking) *Firewood available by the bag to purchase. *Smoking discouraged for the comfort of guests. * The platypus can be sighted in the creek. There is a family of 3 friendly deer that roam our property, so keep an eye out they are beautiful. * There is fencing along the creek bank for safety for little children.

Our weekend on the Dairy Farm
What a beautiful spot to camp - very picturesque. Having the porta-loo onsite was a bonus and was kept immaculately cleaned every day. Garry & Natalie and the family were just lovely and very easy to deal with - salt of the earth people! The bonus of being able to watch the milking in the afternoon was awesome. The 4 sites are very well spaced, however we have a little dog that is noise reactive so not good for her - once the other campers had left we were able to let both dogs off leash and they had an absolute ball. I would actually consider booking out the whole 4 sites to have it all to ourselves next time - totally worth it. Close to Gympie if you need to purchase anything you forgot to pack.

Lovely spot!
This was a lovely spot to spend a weekend - there is quite a lot of space for each site, and a fire pit and supplied firewood. Our site (Koala) is closest to the road but there didn’t seem to be much or any traffic overnight so it wasn’t an issue. Our dogs had a great time sniffing around & exploring and meeting the doggos on the other sites. It was great to meet & chat with some of the other groups there too. The port-a-loo was clean & well maintained. There are some great little towns nearby with local produce for sale at farm stores and some convenience stores. The Kandanga pub is only 10min away. I would recommend this spot and we are planning on a return trip.

No hassel and easy access
Enjoyed a 1 night stopover here. All great sites, each with own fire pit to enjoy. Informative and easy instructions from the owner.

Great hosts
This is our third time camping at Mountain View and we love the space and quietness. Close to towns if you want a day trip or just sit back and enjoy. Great hosts also and off leash dog camping at its best. Heaps of space
