A wheely bin is available for small rubbish removal, however large rubbish removal will need to be taken to the tip located 5 minutes down the road across from the shopping centre. Additionally, it is important to note that midges may present in the area during early morning and afternoon before sundown The entrance is off road however can be easily accessed by a two-wheel drive. Lovely, little, private spot... Nice and close to Airlie and yet peaceful rural suburb. Unfortunately we required internet for our stay, and signal was limited.

Will stay again ✨️

For the first time, we stayed at a hipcamps location and what a good decision it's been. Our hosts Adam and Tenneille and their 2 boys Atlas and Skipper have been awesome. The camp spot was very private and surrounded by very healthy green bushland. There were native birds around and we even saw a wallaby at night. It was nice being out of busy town of Airlie Beach itself, but so handy just being down the road. We didn't have any phone service but it was lovely to be off-line! The boys played with our daughter Scarlett and showed us around. We found out Tenneille does work for @wildlife.whitsundays and were so lucky to see a beautiful eagle, hand raised magpie, chickens, tawny frogmouth and some reptiles. Definitely something we weren't expecting but a lovely bonus suprise.

Cozy night in private site

Great night spent here! The site was rather small, but it ensured quiet and privacy. We had a super warm reception by Tenielle despite the late arrival, she even piled up us some wood for the fire :)
