Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property is a 7 acre property split into 2. Across the road is your very own 2 acres next to the creek. On the 2 acres is an old lychee orchard, a yoga pad, fire pit, creek access, and our veggie garden. Up the road is the strawberry farm, banana farm, and access to the amazing Helen’s Ck waterhole. Pitch your tent under the yoga pad while you listen to the creek. Enjoy the fire pit while you watch the rapids flow by. Access the creek via 2 bush tracks. 1 will take you to the magnificent waterhole, the other to the rapids. Fairly flat but not completely level. The owner has some beautiful vegetables growing, these are available at an additional fee. The pumpkins are amazing! Guests must be full self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Easy to find and very private despite backing onto a road. Creek is spectacular and the undercover area and the fire pit are definitely a bonus. Tent was fine on the slight slope with just a mat under one end of the mattress.

This beautiful block took me straight back to what it was like camping as a kid, beautiful mountains surrounding, the foresty bank, the pumpkin patches, the bamboo, the beautiful sounds of the creek which is you can see from the fire fit when enjoying a coffee. Everything about this place was perfect! secluded and peaceful, nothing but paradise🌿 Can say this is my new fave spot!

This place is paradise! The shelter was an added bonus during the rainy weather. We found it easier to access the creek straight out the front of the camp as the other track was a bit overgrown. The creek is shallow & cold & gorgeous. Rock socks are your friend here. We will definitely be back.

Piece of Paradise
Laura’s Hipcamp is a very comfortable spot beside a crystal clear running creek. We enjoyed the ability to be able to park right beside a large covered area which we used to relax under for the evening. Although in close proximity to a local road, the site is well protected by trees and a large garden bed, and virtually no traffic through the evening. Having no phone reception was a pleasant change from our busy lifestyle.

We enjoyed our stay. The property was easy to find and access. The camp site was well maintained with access to the creek. We will definitely be back.
