We have a beautiful hobby farm on 2 and a half acres. Camping is at the front of the property where you will find vegie gardens and fruit trees. There is also a fire pit (plenty of firewood available), a trampoline and a games shed with toilet, shower and kitchenette facilities. You can purchase free range eggs in half dozen and full dozen when available, and drinks. Please ask on check-in. 200m to boat ramp with river perfect for water skiing, jet skiing, tubing and freshwater fishing (licence required as this is a stocked impoundment). On opposite side of river is Sandy Hook Boat Club where major water skiing and power boat races are held throughout the year. Located between Bundaberg and Gin Gin. Bundaberg has attractions such as the Bundy Rum Distillery, Ginger Beer Factory, a free zoo, Mon Repos Turtle Centre, lower Great Barrier Reef cruises to Lady Musgrave Island for snorkelling, great beaches some with 4WD access. Gin Gin is on the main highway to head north or south. Easy access from here to National Parks for walks and 4WDing. Being a hobby farm we have sheep which get fed every afternoon between 4 and 5. There are also chickens that free range around the campsite. Swimming pool available on request and children MUST be supervised.Flat, grassy site. Vegetable gardens and fruit trees. Only 1 group permitted to book at a tine. Large firepit nearby with seating, firewood provided. Games room with table tennis (we only have 1 ball so please look after it), fooseball, and darts available. Shower, toilet and kitchenette only a few metres away (shower and toilet not wheelchair accessible). Toiletries and toilet paper are NOT included. Afternoon feeding of sheep. Free range chickens will visit your campsite. Bird watching. Within walking distance to boat ramp and freshwater fishing (200m away). Kayak hire available on request. Driving distance 15 min to Bundaberg, 30 min to Gin Gin and 45 min Childers and all their attractions. Visit Bundaberg Rum Distillery, Bundaberg Ginger Beer factory, Splitters Farm, Boolboonda Tunnel, Botanic Gardens, reptile and bird parks, museums, beaches, lakes, cafes, art galleries, national parks or just chill and relax. We will happily help out with ideas for you to enjoy our special part of Queensland.

We had a lovely time. The camping area is in the front yard near the road and in sight of neighbours but it felt private and peaceful. The man cave is amazing, with fridge, microwave, kettle and oven as well as cutlery and crockery provided and with toilet and shower available too. There's a screen, DVDs, Netflix and games including table tennis and darts. The chickens and dogs are friendly and you can walk through the back to the river. Steven and Sandra were very welcoming and lent us some duck tape to fix up our broken tent. As a base while we visited friends it was perfect.

Steve and Sandra were very welcoming and friendly. The camp spot was great. It was far enough away from the house to have privacy and close enough to the shed for using the toilet and shower. The spot is only 15mins into Bundy which made it really easy to get around and a great spot to come back to at the end of the day.

Space for the kids
Steve and Sandra were excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful. Our kids loved the space and use of the games room. Lots of room and the yard was flat and well maintained. Chickens were cute and fond of our left over veggies. Will definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you Steve and Sandra for a fantastic stay.

Great little place to set up as a base for a few days to explore the Bundaberg region. Super friendly and helpful host. After a few weeks on the road it was great to have the games room for the kids to hang out in and play some games and also get out of the weather. Race boats on the river just meters away from camp were great and there is also a huge grass area by the river to play cricket etc. only a short drive into town made it easy to explore the Bundy region.

We stayed 4 nights. Steve and Sandra were very welcoming and helpful. The facilities were excellent. Plenty of space and a lovely quiet setting. The kids loved the chickens and playing with the dogs and visiting the sheep. The games room was a huge hit. We would highly recommend Rob-Lee Rose Farm to anyone considering a stay there.
