Settled in 1866 by Mr. Robert Brown. The land is now used for beef cattle and a small amount of dry land hay production. We have 3 private campsites to offer, all have good distance from each other with no visibility of other camps. Approximately 400m from other sites. We like to camp with room too! All sites are fenced off with a gate to drive in and keep the cattle out. Please select a site for more detailed description on what to expect and the extras it offers. Selecting a site will show more accurate photos of that particular location instead of every photo found here. Pets welcome however must remain on leash or tether *Please notify us if bringing a dog* Please clean up after your dog ready for the next camper. Fires permitted only in fire-rings provided. Check for local fire ban restrictions first. There is plenty of wood lying around for use (bring your axe or saw). Things to do - Send some golf balls into space -The creek is seasonal, only flowing after good rain. It will dry up in some conditions. Swimming in the water holes is ok, please check in the water for depth and sticks -Brisbane river is up the road (10mins) to Savages crossing or Twin Bridges. Fantastic swimming or lazing in the running water. -Push bikes, Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is 5min away if you jump on at Borallon Station Rd. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

We will be back!
We absolutely loved camping here. So quiet and very private. There were other campers but we couldn't see or hear them. We will definitely be back!

Top camp spot in SE QLD
Camp was easy to access and quite tucked away. The site was beautifully maintained to allow for easy set up and camp, with plenty of firewood around the area. The bathtub, wildlife and views were definitely the selling point! The location and easy going nature of site owner to allow for dogs, little adventures on the property and to let loose some golf balls made it one of the best camp spots we have been to so far in SE QLD

The Party Hut
We had an amazing few days at this property and loved the site. Our kids loved exploring the creek bed and the site is great with seating around the fire as well as the shelter and table. Toilet is excellent too. Our kids also loved the fire bath. Thanks for an amazing stay we will definitely be back.

What a wonderful spot. A lot of care and attention has gone into making a great camping experience and Cameron is an exceptional host. I’ve already booked my next trip to go back.

This property is awesome and I'd stay again! The negative is the 100,000 dogs at the kennel up the road barking and howling all night!
