Susan River Homestead Adventure Resort was established in 1978 & over the past 39 years has concentrated on giving tourists an experience to remember for all the right reasons, this family owned friendly Resort also holds Weddings, Conferences & outdoor horsemanship spectaculars. Over the past 2 years we have found that many of our wonderful long term clients have turned to camping, caravanning & RV’s & many have requested to stay, so to bring them back to the Homestead we have established facilities that will cater to their needs. The Resort offers horse riding which is recognised as outstanding by our many return clients & horse lovers worldwide. Enjoy water sports on the resorts own 17 acre lake or use the tennis courts, swimming pool, in-ground trampoline & BBQ area. On the property but operated by other entities is a High Low Ropes Courses, Abseiling Tower & Paint Ball Facilities, Susan River Homestead is an adventure lover’s dream. Camping , Caravans & RV sites are available at Susan River Homestead all year round, limited powered sites are available.

What a great place to stay. Amenities are amazing. New toilet block and showers with hanging hooks for everything you need. Swimming pool, amazing camp kitchen, media room, games room, tennis court, horse riding and more. I camped for 10 days and the hosts were so helpful, I could buy ice from the office aswell. 15 minutes to shops was handy! Perfect position to access Harvey Bay and Maryborough as well as quaint coastal towns.

Lovely block of land with so many facilities. No time to be bored at all as there is so much to do, and the staff were all very friendly. We only stayed one night but highly recommend.

Great campsite.
Great place to stay, relaxing and enjoyed the walk around the camp site. Best part was the horse riding right next to where our caravan was set up. Loved the horse riding afternoon up in the hills with Abbie and her team. The staff were very accomodating and helpful. Clean and tidy camp grounds.

A very nice spot just off the highway but still very peaceful. Loads of activities on offer and close to Hervey Bay.

Great, large space for the kids to run around and enjoy. Clean pool and amenities. Kids enjoyed patting the horses when they were walked through the grounds.
