The campsite is situated on the beach, sheltered by the sheoaks in the back dunes. At the rear of the campsite lies a freshwater lagoon, locally known as the keyholes. Currently, two sites are available to be booked. A unique feature includes the opportunity for surfing, fishing, and swimming in your private lagoon. A short drive will take you to Point Lookout. Access is via the beach only and tides are a consideration. Please check "Point Lookout tides" on Willy Weather. I don't normally travel on the beach if the tide is over 1.5 metres.

Tappy's Tours and Camping - Site 1
My daughter and I had a great spontaneous couple of nights camping at Tappy’s. We were very fortunate to have the site to ourselves (even being school holidays). The 4WD lesson getting in was very much appreciated in the soft sand as were the hot showers. The camp is well setup with quite a bit of equipment so we didn’t need to take nearly as much as we did. John was very friendly and helpful at all times. A bit of a cleanup around camp would make it a near perfect experience.

Ultimate Beach camping
Awesome place the stay, best spot for camping, fishing & exploring. John was friendly & really easy to communicate with. Plenty of firewood around to use. All the amenities were well thought out. Would highly recommend for that beach camping experience.

Wonderful weekend get away
A hidden gem amongst the and dunes. Tappy has a fantastic bush camp set up. Camp kitchen with bush toilets and a donkey boil style hot shower. I would recommend booking both sites so that you have the whole site to yourself

Brilliant spot, well stocked
Great location. What a treat to have a private camping spot with ability to have a campfire + great facilities. Cooking / washing setup and toilets were clean and well stocked. Private location, didn’t hear anyone else the whole time we were there. John was very helpful and gave us great directions before and after. Had a great couple days camping. Would recommend
