Twitcher's Hill camping area is situated on a quiet road, away from noise. Guests can pitch a tent or park their accommodation and enjoy the morning chorus of birds while breakfasting with a stunning mountain view. We have an outdoor septic toilet and guests will have access to a fire pit during their stay, along with spring water, tennis court and swimming pool. Telsta has coverage in this area and the closest convenience store is 14km (Nine Mile Store) or Woolworths shopping centre, Mossman 25km. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash whilst on the property as we have chooks and cattle. Our property is suitable for a quiet, relaxing, nature lovers get away, 450m above sea level at the northern most end of the Atherton Tableland, offering an ideal relaxing climate.Twitcher's Hill camping area is situated on a quiet road, away from noise. A little gem hidden away with the most incredible view I've seen. Close enough to Port Douglas but far enough to fully indulge in the rainforest vibes. The most generous host ever. Offering fresh herbs and fruit from their garden and a camping hot shower! This was an outstanding experience thank you so much!

I really enjoyed the view and easygoing manner of the hosts. Everything was very accessible with a clean toilet and many places to choose to camp. Not to mention the pool and tennis court! Just lovely 🥰

Lovely hosts and bird watching
Theresa and Frank were wonderful hosts. We chose to park our pop top on a flat grass spot near the creek, which was surrounded by trees filled with birds including Spotted catbirds, spectacled monarchs, Victoria’s rifle birds, and forest kingfishers. We felt very welcome to use the facilities near the house, and ask advice about walks and birdwatching locations nearby. They were very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks again. I’d love to come back 😊

Our favourite hipcamp
My partner and I had an amazing stay at this hipcamp, it was a stunning location and felt private. Had everything we needed and the owners were very accommodating, and kind enough to let us try their home grown fruits & veggies. We stayed here 4 nights and found it hard leaving, would highly recommend this beautiful hipcamp. 10/10

Nice grassy camp with great views
We stayed here for two nights as a family and loved it. Great views and amazing sunsets! Very convenient to have use of the toilet, camping shower, tables/chairs and sink. Thanks guys, we hope to be back again!
