Welcoming you to our 100 acre horse property nestled in the Glasshouse Mountains, with a creek and a lake. Featuring a mix of pine and natural forest, this off grid campsite has a lovely flat space for camping. Drinking water and toilet amenities are available, and we welcome well behaved dogs on leashes as well as a place to stay for your beloved horse (please note an additional horse facility fee will be charged). *While we don't have water hookups, we can fill water tanks. 🐴***We also offer a variety of horse riding experiences that can be selected and added to your booking at checkout***🐴 The Glass House Mountains are found in the hinterland of Queensland's Sunshine Coast. They are about a one-hour drive south of the Sunshine Coast's main hub, Noosa, or an hour north of the state's capital city, Brisbane. The region is a natural playground of walking tracks, horse trails and abseiling locations, the mountains are also home to six small townships, linked by rail and country roads. Please note there is highway noise at this site.

Backyard set up on his property which is a bit neglected. Looked like a junk yard . Not very enjoyable . Toilet was far from camp spot.

We had a great time spending the night in the glass mountains at Wild Horse Retreat. Michael is very nice and showed us where we could park. They had one horse roaming around and we were parked right in front of a beautiful pond with a place for a campfire. There’s also the sweetest dog that hangs around. Was a great time!

Great place to get back to nature
Loved everything about the place, will definitely be going back. Plenty of tracks to go walking on, horses were an added bonus, camped by the creek & was great just to read a book & take in the sounds of nature.

My second stay at wild horse. The perfect base for exploring the glasshouse mountains. Very private and relaxed. I’ll be back!
