Yabba Creek Farm is located along the Yabba Creek just west of Imbil. Only 3km past Imbil township and 10km to Borumba Dam. The property boast exquisite views of the Yabba Creek bordering Mount Granger and forestry as our backdrop. Make use of the free kayak hire. It is a must do so you can see what makes this area famous. You won’t be disappointed!! There are deep swimming holes as well as shallow areas for the little ones. And make sure the little kids ask for the free pony rides and animal petting and say hi to the ostriches across the fence. All this is included for Free in your booking. *** Please note there is a rifle range within a few kilometres of the farm. You can hear the gun shot echos when range is open during some weekends FYI *** Yabba creek Farm is one of three Hipcamps along this stretch of Yabba Creek. To the west is Maluka Park - runner up Hipcamp 2022 and finalist 2023 in Australia. To the east is Yabba Ridge with an abundance of unique animals you can see across the paddock from Yabba Creek Farm. These campsites are really hidden gems. Be sure to book early as we are gaining popularity with limited bookings available. Camps are spaced out along a manicured 300m creek frontage. There is a total of 1km creek frontage on Yabba Creek Farm for your to explore. Attractions include kayaking - provided and are free to use, fishing (current ban in place for Mary River Cod breeding season), bush walking and wildlife watching. Platypus are frequently sighted in the Yabba creek. Lungfish can also be viewed while kayaking or snorkelling. Koalas, wallabies, gonnas and an abundance of bird life are also commonly sighted. Dogs are welcome on very strict conditions as we have farm animals including, chickens, horses and a turkey, so must remain secure on a leash at all times. Dogs with hunting or chasing nature are not welcome for the safety of our animals and wildlife. One toilet available. Cleaned daily. BYO if you wish to camp further away from main area. Second hire toilet during peak season. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Weekends and holidays we provide farm experiences for the kids with feeding and petting with ponies and pony ride for the little kids, chickens and turkey. Absolutely great camp sites that overlook the creek and the use off kayaks are a bonus. Access to drinking water and onsite toilet was much appreciated and Kaylea is a great host and communicater.

Lower Creek Bank 4wd “Hidden Gem”
Perfect
We camped at the hidden gem and it was absolutely perfect. We were right in the water and had no other campers around us. My kids loved the use of the kayaks and the free pony rides! It was an amazing weekend and we would absolutely camp there again.

Beautiful creek & pet friendly.
Absolutely loved our stay. Kayla was an excellent host. Great communication, flexible with times and super thoughtful. She even offered to collect kindling for us when traffic delayed our arrival. The property is beautiful, sites are huge which gives unexpected feeling of privacy. It’s in a fantastic spot on the creek with beautiful views, easy access to great swimming spots and options for both the 4wd self sufficient camper, and the 2wd non self sufficient weekenders who need access to a toilet and water (us). Free kayak use was so great and a host of animals kept our kids entertained, from the horses in the paddock, Guinea pig pats, pony rides, to the resident turkey! The sites are huge and we just had a family tent but you could definitely book for large groups and still feel spread out. I loved camping and not having anyone right next to us. There are properties either side which are also lovely but Yabba Creek Farm was perfect for us and we will absolutely be back.

My girls and I had a great weekend at Kaylea’s. Highlights include: the spacious well kept site, clean toilet a short walk from our site; free kayak use on the beautiful Yabba creek where we spent many hours; great views; free pony ride for my 4 yr old niece which she loved. Thanks Kaylea.
