Burra Creek Camping in Bright is an incredibly beautiful, rustic 5000-acre property, situated 25km North of Robertstown, just over 2 hours from Adelaide. It's suited to those with 4x4 or higher clearance vehicles, and off-road campers/caravans and tents. The camping sites here are very private, and provide large flat areas to set up. All have beautiful surroundings and views. The land here is spectacular. From morning light accompanied by birdsong, to days spent exploring the creek and the bush, to stargazing and toasting marshmallows by night, the land here offers the perfect antidote to modern-day stresses. There is (wonderfully) limited phone service here, meaning it's the perfect place for a digital detox! Two of our campsites have very basic outback long drop toilets (Wombat Flat and Creek Site), but for all other sites, campers need to be fully self-contained. It's you and nature. Therefore we ask that you please ensure the place is left as or better than you found it. All rubbish and waste to be taken with you. Important Information to know before booking: Check-in must be before 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please book for the following day instead. Plenty of fallen timber around you are welcome to collect for firewood, however, strictly no chainsaws or cutting down of trees. And strictly no motorbikes, firearms, or rally driving on the property. Pets are allowed, as long as they are controlled.

Wombat Flat
Spent a great weekend at Wombat Flat. Nice open areas beside a dry creek bed. Was fantastic to sit fireside on a cold winters weekend so close to Adelaide, yet so isolated you couldn't hear any signs of civilisation. Would highly recommend and fully intend to return.

Heaven
A fabulous place! Trish and Peter are welcoming. We have been several times now, so quiet - no noisy neighbours, lovely walking tracks for the dogs to go on. We go for sunset drives and champagne and cheese plates. What’s not to love!! Close to Burra!! Perfect!!

Red Gum Lookout
Clean, mostly untouched bush, quiet, teaming with wild life, good walking, safe for kids and dog friendly. Hosts very helpful and easy to talk to. Redgum lookout campsite is a great little camp site.

Wombat Flat
Great Location
Great place for a long weekend get away. Close to Adelaide, but in the middle of nowhere. Wombat Flat site was beautiful, next to the creek bed. We didn’t see any wombats, but plenty of kangaroos and emus, and lots of red dirt. Great for young kids. Well separated from other sites, and Trish and Peter were a pleasure to deal with as always.
