Edgehill Farm Stays is located between Barossa and Clare Valley, 7km out of Riverton, and 1 hour north of Adelaide. We run a sheep and cropping farm which creates beautiful camping grounds at the foot of the hills, just below the Heysen Trail. The campsites are located on the pasture paddocks of the farm with sheep roaming the area, occasionally, so dogs on leashes at all times please. With large distances between other campers, each site can cater for large groups, with no close neighbours. The sites are at least 2km away from busy roads, so absolute peace and privacy! There's a beautiful push bike ride from Riverton to Clare Valley and all the wineries are along the way. Plenty of room at the property for kids to ride their push bikes. Fantastic sunsets and sunrises from all sites, and at its best at the SUNSET BAA. Beautiful bird noises, including the kookaburras having a laugh. There's a very very basic "long drop toilet" pit toilet located near the Gumtree paddock and 5 others shared, down close to the camping paddocks, if not wanting to use shared toilets, please bring and supply your own portable toilet. Great coffee, cafe, and pub meals are available in Riverton. IGA food store is open 7 days a week, and a lovely clothing Boutique, Sassy Lass, is also open most days. Important Information to know before booking: All campers must check in BEFORE 8pm. If you are unable to arrive before 8pm, please make a booking for the following day instead Wood can be delivered to your site for a small fee, or your welcome to bring your own. Strictly no chainsaws on our properties please. generators only allowed on the unpowered sites. Pets are allowed, as long as they are on leashes at all times. If you have day visitors joining you during your stay, please go to the extras section and add the numbers to the booking. We also operate another Hipcamp called BURRA CREEK CAMPING, this property is situated 25km North of Robertstown, ideal for mostly 4WD and off road campers. Milky Way Hut
One of the best in SA
One of the best places out there. Trish and Peter are awesome hosts. And the hut was a godsend during the weather. One of the best camping experiences we’ve had in a while.

Tiny Creek Paddock
Trish changed our campsite from Tiny to Gum Tree due to the weather. Gum Tree has more protection from the wind. The site was amazing! A huge fire pit, the site was surrounded by beautiful gum trees. Trish and Peter are wonderful hosts going that extra mile. Edgehill was a fantastic location, with one of the best long drop toilet we have had. If you need firewood, for $30 they will deliver a very generous amount. We will definitely be back!

Wow is the word I would use. Such a beautiful location. Trish is amazing and was so kind showing us to our camp site. There were some other campers but far enough away that we felt nicely secluded. Thank you so much for sharing your property Trish & Peter

Twin Creeks
Gorgeous spot to relax
Wonderful place to stay if you are looking for beautiful views, peace and relaxation. The camp grounds are very spread out so there's lots of privacy, only the sheep came over to check us out. The Baa is a great spot to enjoy the sunset and Trish gave us a warm welcome and was very responsive and helpful. Thanks!

Milky Way Hut
We loved camping at the Milky Way Hut at Edgehill. Such a beautiful area and we're thankful for Trish and Peter for sharing their land with us. The hut itself was nice to have as a shelter for the cold mornings and if it rained. We were a short walk to the long drop toilet which was really well maintained. We loved the walk up to the sunset bar at the top of the hill too. We would highly recommend camping here.

Campers Cave
One of the best camp stays i’ve ever been too, Trish and Peter were incredible hosts, extremely friendly and approachable and they love to have a chat. Camp ground was spacious, relaxing and peaceful. Sunset Bar from 4:30pm was a fantastic idea, everyone from the farm stay joined on top of the hill to watch the sunset, have a few drinks and nibbles and chat away 10/10 stay, you need to go.
