Bush camping and Glamping in native South Australian scrubland. Wake up to breathtaking views of the Southern Flinders Ranges with sheep and cattle roaming in the surrounding paddocks. This is the perfect hub for day trips where travelers can explore the beauty of the Mid North and return for sunset and dinner around a campfire. Our camp is 720m above sea level with one the best views overlooking the Southern Flinders Ranges! We are so lucky to have the historic Tarcowie pub open down the road just 6 minutes away, open for meals and beers. Bush campers should plan to be self-sufficient, there is a full flush toilet for use and untreated water for use at every site. However there are no showering facilities or drinking water provided. Glampers at Canoee's Realm have full amenities. Please note: each site has a picture included of the actual site, the other photos are general photos from Heggies Hill Bush Camp. Campsite 11
Great spot. On arrival we had the place completely to ourselves. Campsite 11 was our booking with great views back toward Melrose - probably the best campsite as far as views go. Alex greeted us just after arrival and said it might get a bit windy at 11. Ended up camping at site 8 which was very protected from the wind. The best bush toilet we’ve seen. Highly recommended

Canoee's Realm Glamping
Canoes realm camping
We really enjoyed our stay at Canoes Realm. The hot tub and fire pit was great to enjoy at the end of the day. All the caravan facilities were great and suited our needs. The whole set up was perfect for 2 people and great for a weekend away. Definitely couldn’t fault a single thing. Will definitely be back and will recommend to friends.

Absolute Stunner Long Weekend! ⭐️
My Family loved staying at Alex and Maddie's property and recommend it to anyone wanting a nice weekend (or weekday) away. Absolutely stunning views and wonderful hosts. we were fortunate enough to go and feed the cows and say hello to two baby lambs named Woody and Buzz! the toilet was very well kept and not far from our site (13). all sites are less then 200m to a toilet. Alex and Maddie do an excellent job at making sure there is enough space between guests so you almost forget you arent at this beautiful location by yourself. if you are looking for the best view we suggest site 11 if it’s available, the other sites are only a short walk from the breathtaking sunset view. Be sure to bring lots of blankets and warm clothes because it does get cold at night!! Our site (13) had plenty of space to fit a caravan, 3 cars and 4 swags. You may need levelling blocks depending on where you park if you are choosing to bring a caravan like we did. Thankyou for having us, we will be back! - Dylan and Family :) 9/6/2024

Camp site 2
The best sunrise I’ve ever seen!
We absolutely loved Heggies Hill! Alex and Maddi were very helpful and recommended a site based on our needs. Campsite 2 was nice and private and fit 4 couples with large camper trailers, we had so much room! We were so happy that they allowed dogs, as it can be tricky find dog friendly campsites. The views from both sides of the hill were incredible, a stunning sunrise over the farm and a beautiful sunset over the rolling hills. Having a working tap near the fire was very handy for washing up, as well as having the luxury of a clean flushing toilet a short walk away! Each site has a firepit with plenty of wood available for purchase. Heggies Hill is close to Orroroo for a quick stock up on supplies or coffee. We will be recommending to family and friends and hope to be back! Thanks guys :)
