Flat cropping and grazing property with a rise up at the Eastern end where a native forest and scrub exists. There are two creek lines joining to make a single stream with four dams also on the property. Potential for vineyard and with an airfield close by and a quality dirt road running along the Western boundary and a surveyed road along the northern boundary this site makes for easy walking and is within short distances to some of the best cellar doors in the Barossa. Kaiser Stuhl National Park is only a short drive away over the lookout at Mengler’s Hill and the Heyson Trail runs through the hill at the Eastern end. Permission may be needed to access other private properties adjoining, however. Wineries close by include Jacob’s Creek Visitors Centre, Rockfords, Grant Burge Cellar Door, St Hugo’s, Charles Melton, Moorooroo Cellar Door or Jacob’s Creek Retreat. Tanunda is only a 5-10 min drive away where a great range of food outlets and a wider range of cellar doors exist. The helpful staff at the Visitor’s Centre in Murray St can assist with answering questions and most services are catered for in the town’s centre. This site’s location lends itself to quite short or long term stays with close access to the fruits of the Barrosa. There are recharge and excellent public facilities at the Visitor Centre and links to Barossa Balloon Adventures if desired. There are no facilities, so campers must be 100% self-contained, taking all waste and rubbish with them when they leave.

Camping bliss
We loved our time away in this beautiful site. Not another soul seen the entire stay. The host was amazing, great communication and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as possible. We loved the open space and room to move having the property to ourselves and feeling like your in the middle of no where but so close to town. The host was more than happy to send lots of info about the local area and places to go and see. Would highly recommend staying here and will be back. Thank you for having our family :)

Fantastic, private location, nestled in the foothills of the nearby wineries, with amazing views. Not many locations in Barossa that you can take a van that isn't the caravan park. Lock it in for your next trip.

Such a beautiful space, views of the hills were incredible. Very lush at this time of year too. Linda was an incredible host, very kind and helpful. Very grateful for this stay!

Nice piece of land.. close to wineries! Got our big 23 ft van in.. but had to guide through the front gate as trees were a little low and didn’t want to hit them.
