Amazing views
Hipcampers say this spot has amazing views.
We live in a beautiful valley on 30 acres, that not many people know about. We're joined by 3 friendly dogs, 4 horses, 2 alpacas, 4 Galloway cows and chooks, along with the resident wildlife including many birds, kangaroos, koalas, shy owls, and even an echidna! All this, plus beautiful views from atop our hills, right to the lake, and the delightful winter creek complete with frogs. We are close to the McLaren Vale wine region as well as wineries throughout the Hills and 35 minutes to the coast of Victor Harbor. The Greenman Inn is 5 minutes down the road and has wonderful food from Wed to Sun if you do not feel the urge to cook with wood fires for the cold nights or a gorgeous outdoor area for the warmer months. At present, we offer two areas for camping. Topspot which has lovely views and is quite secluded amongst the tree tops. This site is suitable for tents and camper trailers (need reasonable backing skills and 4WD) The Laneway which is close to the babbling creek is suitable for those with a small caravan, or motorhome, 2WD etc, along with tent campers. (but would struggle with large caravans/motorhomes - please check with hosts) (The Lookout/Highview has spectacular views and is suitable for tents and camper trailers, accessible by low-range 4WD (or AWD if the weather is dry) - Please note this site is currently closed due to stock rotation.) If you have any doubts about which to book, please ask. AUTUMN/WINTER MONTHS: if we receive considerable rain the trek up to the hill sites could become slippery and not accessible as it is a farm paddock, therefore unfortunately your booking may need to be cancelled. NOTE: On our farm there is limited phone coverage in the valley (The Laneway) Topspot and The Lookout/Highview do have coverage. Pets are welcome, however, please ensure they are kept under control (unless discussed with the host) at all times as we have our livestock and are surrounded by neighboring livestock, as well as the wildlife that frequently visits. Please note: This is an active small farm, therefore work may need be continued throughout your stay possibly necessitating the use of machinery and tending to our livestock. If you wish to see some of the animals up close, please let us know and we will try to accommodate. We ask that all fires be contained within the fire pit provided and a portable toilet is available for your use. BUSHFIRE SEASON: Wood and open fires are not permitted in the bushfire season, therefore you will not be able to use the fire pits.

Highly Recommended
Beautiful views a short walk up the hill, amazing hosts far exceeded our expectations, gave time and energy to make our stay fun and comfortable. Let us feed the baby cows. The site was secure and private. Worth every cent, hope to be back soon.

Camping with animals!
Thank you for providing such a wonderful camping experience. The people were friendly, and the animals added to the charm. Sam's cookies were a delightful treat. We had an amazing time and a truly unique experience.

Topspot
Noorla Farm is a beautiful stay hidden away in the south! After a kind welcoming, which included a small treat of fresh eggs and sweet treats we were escorted up to our camping spot by Chris. The camp spot was beautiful. Perfect spot to setup with fire pit, wooden table and chair, little festoon lights and a super clean toilet area. Nestled away on a hill we enjoyed a beautiful night stay with a wonderful view. Highly recommend!!

The Laneway
I loved tent camping at the laneway, Noolra farm. The host, Sam and Chris are very nice and warm hearted. The site has beautiful views and convenient camping toilet and rain water tap nearby. I visited Strathalbyn while staying at the farm which was a great small town to see around.

The Laneway
We had an absolutely amazing time at Noorla farm! We stayed at the Laneway, with the beautiful horses and alpacas right in front of you. We were also lucky enough to say hi to a little calf that was only a week old. Sam and Chris were wonderful hosts and even gave us a little welcome gift. They showed us around their farm and their 3 dogs who followed us everywhere we go. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay there again in the future.
