Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Welcome to Paradise Lagoon! Here you can stay 30 metres back from the foreshore of Pelican Bay. Unfortunately you cannot see the beautiful bay view from the campsite. You can simply walk 30 metres and take your chairs and esky and spend the day marveling at the views and bird life, or even grab the kayak and paddleboard for some healthy fun . Pelican Bay is a saltwater tidal lagoon, it's very shallow water for a long way, then gets deep a fair way out. The water is too shallow for Boats , but there is a boat ramp nearby. Wineglass Bay is just up the road in Freycinet National Park. We only welcome guests over the age of 50 who have a fully self-contained vehicle. There are no amenities as yet so you must BYO everything you need and leave no footprint. Thank you.

Pelican Bay - Paradise Lagoon
Simple camping in a beautiful spot!
We had a lovely stay on Leza's property. Being only a short drive from Freycinet, staying here allowed us to get there early enough to beat the crowds. The site itself is pretty basic - there's some tables and a fire pit, but no facilities. This wasn't an issue for us though, as we were only staying the night and were charmed by the lush and peaceful surroundings. We especially loved walking along the lagoon, which was just a short walk from the site and we even spotted a wombat!

Pelican Bay - Paradise Lagoon
Great location - peaceful bush setting and a very short (10m) wall through to the lagoon. The area was clear and clean and plenty of places to choose from. Please make sure you remove your rubbish as Leza asks so it is clean and pleasant for the next visitors also. Very happy with our stay.
