The location is central and close to a number of activities and events. The area is known for amazing bushwalking, kayaking and all types of nature based activities. We are also close to annual shows and events such as Taste of Huon and the Cygnet Folk Festival. Lots of local markets, music venues and Farmgate sales, each weekend. Try the delicious local fruit, vegetables and seafood/ meat....add some fresh herbs and seasonal produce from the abundant organic garden. Onsite we have kayaks and bikes for campers to use(deposit required). Located in Ranelagh, 2 mins from Huonville, 45 mins from Hobart, 20 mins from Cygnet, 10 mins from Franklin. Your hosts offer a beautiful paddock and yard in the amazing Huon Valley. We are a small farm with animals and gardens on the edge of residential convenience. Valleydew Paddock Camp
Paddock Stay.
We had two very relaxed nights at Rani’s. She was very welcoming and the paddock was lush, and really quite level. We felt very safe leaving our van to spend the day at Bruny Island. Rani offered us beautiful fresh eggs from her chickens which we gratefully received. We would definitely recommend this paddock.

Plenty of Space, access to water and power by booking. Good host, offered to put geese away if we required. Ground reasonably level, nothing a ramp can’t fix. Very quiet spot, good base to explore Huonville.

It was a quiet space in a lovely setting. Rani was very friendly and helpful. Access to water and power was limited but available. We enjoyed making our outdoor fire.
