Our lake property is located in a quiet, wooded area just steps from the water's edge. Enjoy easy access to the lake and a wide range of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, and swimming. The property is also just a short drive from local attractions and amenities, including restaurants, shops, and entertainment venues.
This place has potential but as is it is very cluttered, worn down and messy. The picture is misleading. Trash is everywhere, nails, drill bits, food stuffs. Surprised we didn't get a nail in our tires. It's not a quiet place either, property is small with lots of neighbors. Glad nobody else showed up with a tent because there was very little room in general but even less flat space without trash. So, if you needed to use a camp toilet you better have a screen or a friend to hide you if there's other people there. Justin was nice, and for whatever reason stayed with us at the site the entire time, day and night. His presence wasn't necessary and a bit of an unintended put off- we use hipcamp to be more private and with nature than with the hosts. Just some things to consider.

Lake House Needs
With kids ·
There are many things to appreciate about the effort made to make this stay worthwhile in terms of the accommodations: it’s clean, got very modern and efficient appliances and impressive interior design choices. But the lake house cabin should not be marketed to the public as is. First of all it’s not a cabin at all, it is a converted school bus and I don’t know why the hosts are shying away from this description because they have done a good job at converting this vehicle But the driveway is occupied by 2 other school bus’ you must squeeze by just to access the “cabin” and it’s unclear which one to stay in. Hosts live close by but did not check to see that there was running water or adequate power or functioning appliances. The induction cooktop had no compatible cookware, the shower tank was empty, no running water and 2 small bottles of water to Supply our family. We could have hauled water there had we known. this place is self check-in so they supplied us with several how-to videos to get in but property is way too close to the neighbors with an abnoxious but harmless loose dog who barks and stalks the perimeter untill you retire within.. To qualify as “composting” toilet, waste should be deposited and buried in substrate. This is an rv unit right next to the bedroom and and your waste sits in a trash bag under the toilet until you leave.
After they build a fence, manage the amenities before listing them as such and cleaning up the trash, I might recommend this stay

Camping in a bus!!!
Group trip ·
The experience was so cool, that we extend our stay an extra night. Our host was so accommodating and helpful. Whoever thought camping in a converted bus could be such a great experience? 10/10 recommend!!

Father and Son Spring Break
Best trip ever! My son (8yo) and I enjoyed every minute of it. We normally tent camp every chance we get, so the experience we had staying here felt so luxurious.
