The primitive site has been a failed development project on Lake Stamford. We purchased the 350 acres not to develop into house sites, but to develop into a recreation area where people can enjoy the outdoors mountain biking, hiking, paddling, horseback riding and camping.

This is a 350 acre pasture with 2.5 miles of Lake Stamford shore line. The lake is accessible by hiking on the property down to the lake or driving about three miles to the Stamford Marina which has a boat ramp and parking. No access via vehicle to the lake on the property where camping. Hike down to the lake is a trail a little over 1/2 mile.
We pitched our tent here halfway along the drive from southern Texas to northern Colorado. There were many nice flat spots for our tent in the pasture, a view of Stamford Lake in the distance, and great stars. Leiza was great with communication, and it was very easy to find and access the site.
