Quiet sanctuary amongst the trees. Birds a-plenty and other wildlife. A dam adds beauty and a haven for the native ducks. Plenty of quiet spaces on the property. There is water available. Couples or families only. 1.5 kms from the railway station and V line service to Melbourne CBD (1 hour). 2 kms from Woodend township. 2 sites are available for vans or tents, 1 site with power and one without. Max of 4 people, 2 adults, 2 children, per site. A small caravan is available with a double mattress for 2 adults max. Locally there are plenty of walking racks, wineries, and villages to explore. No dumping of toilet refuse.

My friends and I had a wonderfully relaxing stay at the campsite. The location is conveniently close to town yet remains peaceful and private. The facilities are clean, and Sharon is incredibly friendly and helpful. We’re looking forward to returning for future trips!

Brilliant weekend destination.
We had a great weekend at Woodend camping at Sharon's lovely homestead. So peaceful and a rest in the country, but 5 minutes from the pub and golf course. Sharon was really helpful, even coming out to help when seeing me struggling to get the fire going ! We will be back.

Sharon was such a lovely host! I had made an error with my booking by booking one night instead of two. Not realising this, I arrived a day early and Sharon was super accomodating despite the mix-up. She was also just a really friendly person and a pleasure to have met. In terms of the site, it felt tucked away but was only a 1-2 minute drive from Woodend centre, making it a very convenient location. It was a perk having access to a flushing toilet and fire pit, and it was lovely waking up to kangaroos and horses in the nearby fields. Would certainly recommend.

Loved out short stay at Sharon’s. Lovely host, nice location . Close enough to walk to town but also feel away from it all. We will be back Trish , stu and Royce 😊

Woodend camping
Very nice place to stay with a beautiful small flower garden, sharon is very good and helpful host. It was our first time camping and we enjoyed a lot with our kids.
