My 34 acre property is surrounded by State Conservation Reserve, and offers peaceful, private camping with the convenience of being just 1k from town. You can walk or cycle to the local pub for a meal! Choose from a few areas where the site is semi cleared with slight rolling hills, seasonal creek and dam. I take one group at a time only, so you'll have the place to yourselves! There is an abundance of bird life, so great for bird watchers or those that just enjoy the sounds of nature. Plenty of options for bushwalking and bike riding. The property makes a great base for exploring the region (Locals tip: check out Logan's iconic Pub in the Scrub and Melville Caves). Try your hand at gold panning in the creek, or prospecting in the State Forest. Pet friendly. Access is possible for all vehicles. Campfires permitted when restrictions/bans aren't in place. Peace and Quiet
A peaceful spot teeming with local wildlife, the stars on a cloudless night are spectacular, amenities are spot on and better than expected. Chris is a wonderful host. I will be back to enjoy this gem again.

Amazing place to be and to have exclusively for yourself. Loved that there was plenty of wood for fire and access to hot water for shower. Thanks Chris for your amazing hospitality, will definitely love to come again.

Easter Weekend
Family had a great time at Basecamp over the Easter weekend. Kayaks and paddle boards were always in use in the dam. Shower and toilet was also a handy addition. Great spot to watch the stars as you sit by the fire, throwing down a few beers or reds. Plenty of space to camp and firewood also. Both the dogs had a ball also. Chris was very helpful upon arrival on directions and what to do in the area. Thanks for a great weekend, pity the weather turned sour on Monday night.

Exactly as stated - plenty of room and different spots to choose from. Toilet and shower a nice bonus. Plenty of firewood. Quiet. Plenty of wildlife and birds. Mozzies and flies to be expected.
