Enjoy the serenity! Bring your horses and your dog, bring your guitar, a good book, even bring a golf set and a bucket of balls. You will have 80 acres of stunning country all to yourselves. Only one booking taken at a time. No one else will be anywhere near! Self-contained campers only, please bring in what you need, and take all waste with you. Base price covers up to 8 people, with capacity capped at 12 people.  The land is characterised by rolling hills, covered by mostly open grassland, with patches of gum trees for shade, and a dam and creek. There's also a native eucalypt forest right across the road with miles of fire trails for walking and horse riding. In the cooler months, the land turns from shades of gold to greens.  There are no facilities, its just you and the land (bliss!) so ensure you have everything you need with you, and take all your waste when you leave.  If you fancy fresh fish for dinner, just down the road is Tuki Trout Farm, or nearby Cairn Curran Reservoir and Tullaroop Reservoir are great for fishing. The tourist villages of Newstead, Clunes and Maldon are all a short drive away, and Daylesford is just 35km drive.  Campfires are permitted when fire bans are not in place. NOTE: We do offer the neighbouring 50-acre paddock for hunting/shooting - with conditions. Please note, this activity is offered separately to our Hipcamp operation and needs to be organised with us directly. Also, we do not allow hunting/shooting next door, if there is a group camping already.

The instructions were excellent and the place lived upto the pictures and expectations! Thank you. First camping trip in a long time and this was a great place to have our first trip with our dogs.

Stonebridge Valley
Fantastic Stay !!
We had a fantastic stay ! Beautiful outlooks and lovely walks . No issue getting in with my camper trailer and my mates Subaru forester no issues driving in . Plenty of firewood close by so the fire was great . Thanks John , we will certainly be back . Cheers Steve and Ange

What a wonderful Hipcamp 😊 Amazing views, perfect weather, beautiful warm fire - what more could you ask for. So quiet and peaceful. Had 5 large caravans on the site - if your van is low though not sure you’d get through entrance track. Thanks John for our stay - will be back

Amazing spot. Thirty minutes to Daylesford and less to the Hepburn baths, yet this camp site was gloriously isolated. Large moon, camp fire, beautiful vista….life becomes so simple.

Our second time here and it’s a brilliant spot. Beautiful peaceful camping. Plenty of firewood, easy access and only 20 mins from Castlemaine. Will be back again.

Stonebridge Valley
We had a fantastic weekend away at Stonebridge Valley. Our off-road camper was perfectly suited for the terrain. The kids had the best time exploring the valley, collecting firewood, finding pretty rocks & trying to get close to the sheep. Beautiful views in all directions. We did not want to leave. Will 100% be back again. Thanks for letting us stay John!
