Our property is in the King Valley on 100 acres with spectacular views of the vineyards and snow-capped mountains. There are several vineyards in the King Valley. The distance to La Cantina is only a short stroll. A quick drive will take you to Lake William Hovell, Powers Lookout, and Paradise Falls.Park your van or tent on the edge of a 1-hectare dam looking across to Mt Buffalo in the beautiful King Valley. Take a 5-minute walk to La Cantina Winery. In the heart of the King Valley, there are multiple award-winning wineries, as well as the King River Brewery and Hobbledehoy Cafe and Dist. If you would like a pub meal, there is the Mountain View Hotel at Whitfield and Moyhu Hotel all within a 10 minute drive. The site is exclusively yours for $50.00 at night for up to 5 people. If you would like to book a group of up to 10, there is an additional charge of $15.00 per person. There is also a Dump Point at Moyhu- Lions Park, Moyhu- Meadow Creek Road, a 10-minute drive from the site. We also sell farm fresh eggs and firewood. Bring your fishing rods to catch Redfin in the Dam.

Peace and tranquil.
Kim's land was perfect for a few days away on a solo trip. Just me and my dog. The space was perfect for my little camper. At night, I enjoyed the chorus of frogs that sent me off to sleep. It was very peaceful. I also enjoyed the sounds of the nearby cows and the ducks on the pond during the day. Their was space for us to wander, to play fetch but mostly to sit and relax by the fire.

Camping Solo in the King Valley.
Kim’s camp was brilliant. Instructions were easy to follow. Camp was ready with firewood and toilet on site and was greeted on arrival with a dozen fresh eggs. The site was perched on a flat rise above the fish pond with great views to the hills in the east and the west. Perfect set up for shoulder season but with no trees in summer it could be challenging if you don’t have sufficient shade. 10/10. I’ll be back.

If you’re looking for serenity with a few wine tastings and good food thrown in this is the place. Star gazing, great sunrises and sunsets, watch the cows come and go and long walks up long country roads. Great for recharging the batteries.

Had a great stay on Kim’s property, so close to local wineries, paradise falls and the king river, not to mention the great fishing on the property, will be back again soon.
