Our farm is located in Carrajung Lower, Central Gippsland where is 2.5 hours drive from Melbourne. As the name reveals we live on a small ridge with at least 3 pairs of Kookaburras living around our house. With a 52 acre property we run miniature sheep to keep our land green and produce ethically raised 100% grass fed lamb. Each site has three levels. The top level is for vans and/or tents; the middle level is for tents only and the bottom level is the fire pit area. Surrounded by pine plantation and native trees, you can enjoy secluded time without neighbours except native animals and birds! Perfect for bushwalking or mountain biking. What you can do around here: 30 minutes drive to Tarra Bulga National Park, Woodside Beach and Maryvale Pines MTB track. 20 minutes to Yarram for shopping and awesome coffee, also popular for Heesco murals. Outdoor swimming pool is open in summer time where you can have a hot shower. 5 minutes to Carrajung Estate which has exceptional wine and incredible cuisine.

Site Three - Close to the loo
Great place to see the sunrise. Location was quite enough, bit of car noise from the road below, but nothing worth worrying about. Toilets were good especially the ‘Loo with a view’. Daniel a great host. Give the lamb sausages a go, they were good. Thanks

Sheep TV
We had a fantastic time at Kookaburra Ridge farm. We stayed on site one which is very private and it had a lovely view of the dam. We loved watching the sheep pass by and found them fascinating. We called it 'sheep tv'. Daniel was a great host and communication was very prompt and friendly. We've already booked to come back again.

Great October break
Site 3 was excellent and accomodated our A frame Avan easily. Great view of sloping land to the East giving great sunrise views. The road was busy but not so noisey to disturb our sleep. The MBT area is rsather dilapidated but the bushland offerred other delights. Plenty of fallen wood for easy collecting, the grass field was well maintained and free of stock. The drop toilets were clean and equipped with lighting and exhaust fan ( no smell) . We appreciated the serenity and being given our space to let the dog run and to cook on an open fire. Our wood was supplied by Daniel along with some excellent lamb chirizo as part of an October booking promotion. We fully recooment Kookaburra Ridge Farm- Phil & Ruth

The kids and I had an amazing time! Daniel was a fantastic host, quick to respond to any questions. We loved the view, the space for the kids to run, play and climb trees. The toilet was fantastic, no smell. The dogs absolutely loved the freedom and really enjoyed not having to be tethered while we camped. We were the only ones there though, so not sure how it would got if there were other dogs around or other campers. Definitely keen to return in the future!
