Established in 1970, Montara Wines is owned by the Stapleton family. 200km West of Melbourne in the Grampians region, Montara has the most captivating panorama of plains, mountains and vines. With amazing views and even better crafted wine, we make the perfect get away. Each of our sites are very spacious valuing the privacy of each of our guests. There is a portable toilet available to use. We have pizzas, cocktails, beer and wine available at cellar door. Please look at our facebook page for opening hours and upcoming events. With either the choice of our cosy glamping tents, camping sites or tiny homes situated over many acres, we invite you to come and have a taste of perfection... literally.

Beautiful spot with wine!
We loved our stay at Montara winery, a beautiful and peaceful spot to camp plus the winery had lovely service, views and pizza!

The site is so quite. Can enjoy the weekend here. Toilet is so far away, need to prepair the toilet by yourself. There is nothing on winter for grapes sight seeing.

Stars and views
Gorgeous experience. Beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Tues night, mid winter I had the whole area to myself. Cellar door was closed but Boots let me in to purchase wine and firewood and I had a peaceful evening under the stars.

The site was lovely, the winery pizza was great and we woke up to see a group of kangarros by our tent. We will definitely come back!

Absolutely amazing experience. My 4 year old loved the experience. The camp site was perfect, toilets were great and the location of the site was perfect. Quite a bit to do in the area, the cellar itself was pretty lively. And there are a few great spots around as well for wildlife and scenery.

The site layout has changed since our last stay in Sept 23 with a lot less room per site, and to have a glamping tent right next to our camp site with a really drunk and loud guest in it has really made us think about another stay unfortunately. The staff were still great as was the wine and pizza..
