There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields.

Island Bend
Rippa spot on the river.
Beautiful spot on the river with easy access and plenty of room. Very secluded and private. Mick is a great host, always friendly and up for a chat. This is our third time back and we will be definitely coming back for many years to come.

Peaceful weekend getaway
The directions provided to get to the spot were perfect and easy to follow. Mark welcomed me shortly after arriving. The perfect east facing vista was magnificent for star gazing and the creek provided a peaceful spot for fishing. Didn't catch anything but was a great spot.

Weeping Willow (main site)
Perfect place to camp off grid surrounded by cows, sheep, rolling hills and the river. Mark was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of things to do in the surrounding area.

The Blue Stone Barn Site
A perfect place to relax
Our family have had an awesome time camping along the river, with the sheep watching on. It was our second time staying at Blue Stone Barn site and it won’t be our last. Thanks Mark for sharing your family property with us.

Always a great place to camp
Camping by the river and you can’t see or hear anyone else. Plenty of space and a campfire at night. Can’t get any better. I just keep going back there.
