Pick your own site for self contained caravans, rvs or tents in our maintained grassy camp area. Suited to singles or groups, there’s plenty of space to stake out your plot. Contained and controlled pets okay but please be mindful of stock. Metung village a short 5 minute drive away.Sardine Flat camp is located adjacent to the tambo river, on a well kept grassed area within working farmland. The Tambo river provides excellent fishing easily accessible from the banks. There are well maintained boat ramps moments away in johnsonville and Metung. The public picnic area outside the gate, provide tables and flushing toilets. Self contained setups welcome for large fishing groups, family and friends and solo guests. A short drive to Metung village, you’ll have easy access to the Metung Pub, general store, bakery and restaurants. Contact us today for your next camping trip!

Great spot next to the Tambo River. Very peaceful and quiet. Water and firewood available. Would stay again. Also very friendly Host.

It was peaceful and the views were amazing. Jane was friendly and accomodating and regularly checked in during our stay. The stars at night are amazing while sitting around the camp fire.

Big open space lots of room right next to the river and public toilets central to everything short drive to Metung ( great pub) and lakes entrance and Bairnsdale Darren and Jane are great hosts happy to help with anything we needed and will definitely be adding it to our favorites list and will be back!!

Great location
This is a great site with large pitches very accessible from the Princes highway. The hosts meet you and are very friendly and attentive. We only stayed one night but it’s a great location to explore the area.
