Shacks at Kardella is a 47-acre lifestyle farm close to the beach at Indented Head on the Bellarine Peninsula.  Our property has cows, goats, miniature horses and plenty of native birdlife.  Walking distance to the beach and general store/post office which sells coffee, beer, wine and other essentials. The campsite is 500 metres from the Indented Head boat ramp.  Come and enjoy our peaceful slice of the thriving Bellarine Peninsula!  Campsites have no amenities so campers need to BYO everything (including drinking water and camping toilet) and leave no trace.  Dog friendly. We offer general camping a garden glamping bell tent.

Room to play, beaches, sunsets and
We camped with our son, his wife and our 4 yo grandchild. We were welcomed by Damien. It was a great location with plenty of room to play. There was also room for our dog to exercise. The camp is within walking distance to the beach. We also enjoyed visiting Portarlington, Indented Heads and St Leonard’s. If looking for somewhere to watch sunsets and a million stars - this is the place.

A wonderful camping
What a lovely Open area , well Maintained for you And your dog , Lots of room in between campers for privacy , a short walk to the beach and local to a toilet Block 3 minute drive , very safe and secure, you can make friends with other dog parents for a free rein of dog roaming and Play Time if you wish . . All fenced and gated . Hosts are wonderful and accommodating, we are blessed to have these people share their property with strangers , we will certainly be back the top paddock, thank you Damian and Alii ❤️

Great place to camp
4th time to Shacks and absolutely LOVE it, so peaceful lots of space between campers and dog loves the room run. Nice walk to beach area close to other well known towns Queescliff, Ocean Grove .. will be back again. Thanks Damien and nice to see you again.

Spacious and close to the water!
An excellent spot to camp and a short walk to the boat ramp/walking tracks where there's toilets and portable water. Damian was super friendly and brought us a fire pit. Our doggo loved running around!

No wonder this place rates so well!
Good communication, great location and very well manicured and generously sized camping areas. Mid week we had the place to ourselves which was also handy to visit family in the area and go exploring! Definitely like to return!

Alli was a great host, showed us to the campsite nad a lovely paddock. the grass was freshly cut and the trees were recently trimmmed which made our stay comfortable. direct access to the road was a great convenience with only a walk to the beach and public toilets.
