Nestled right beside the Murrundini River, all 3 campsites are beside the river, and well spaced apart for privacy and peace. Campsite 2 (site two) is shady, surrounded by tall swamp gums, black wood wattles and tree ferns. This spot is at its best from late spring through to autumn . Site One is a large flat area beside the river that is good all year round. It has fencing and gates, perfect to let dogs run free without going too far. Site 3 (Craig's flat), is a large open campsite, able to take more camper-vans/ tents with plenty of space. All sites have fire places. And there are plenty of fish for those that want to try their luck. The original home stead (built in 1876) burnt down in the 2009 black Saturday fires. There still remains many 150+ year old elms and other European trees near the toilet block, which are delightful in autumn. We have some fantastic views from the hill up and down the Murundindi Valley, especially at sunset. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant & rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. Beautiful spot in the rolling hills! Loved our site by the little river, so pretty, and close to the loo :) great amenities with flush toilet, fire pit and bbq. Ground was also nice for tents. Easy entry and good communication. We'll be back!

The site was clean, private and spacious. Great fire pit and the option to use the BBQ stove. It’s right next to a river too so is very peaceful at night as we slept too. Michael was also very responsive and clear Thanks so much!

Great spot down by the river, our dog had the time of her life her tail didn’t stop wagging until we left! Even caught a few fish so to say we were stoked is an understatement thanks very much to Michael for an excellent job

Craigs Flat - Site 3
Great little getaway with kids
Our stay at Michael’s land was amazing. We stayed at site 3 which was nice and open, close to the river and toilet. Whilst there are three sites you are far enough from other sites and feel like you’re staying there on your own. Michael was super easy to communicate with and provided plenty of instructions / directions for what we needed to know. Highlights for us were nice open space for kids to run around, the river, camp inclusions (bbq if you need, table, grill), lookout and just the overall peace and quiet. Will be back in summer so kids can have a splash in the river. Thanks again Michael.
