Base camp - Kalbarri. Caravan friendly🤗 Nature based campsites. This bush camp is near Kalbarri, halfway from Perth to Carnarvon located on Eastough rd, Ajana-Kalbarri, 10 minutes off the North West Coastal Highway. Our property is a family-owned sheep farm. It offers bushland that is ideal for camping with access for both fwds, 2wds, towed boats or caravans. We are right on the edge of the Kalbarri National Park, 57km away (about a 38 minute drive) into Kalbarri. The Kalbarri Skywalk, which is one of Australia’s Coral Coast‘s most popular tourist attractions is 72km away (about a 50 minute drive) offering stunning views of the Murchison River Gorge and surrounding landscape. Look up at the stars, and enjoy what it feels like to be the only one in the world. Then rise to take in the beautiful sunrise, unhitch your caravan and head into Kalbarri for, a horseride, a swim, lunch, see the National Park, etc, returning early enough to put your feet up, relax in your own company, watching the beautiful sunset, and gaze up at the billions of stars in the Milky Way Galaxy. 🔥Fires are prohibited from 1st October - 7th April. Campsite 3
Fantastic outback feel camping
Fantastic spot. We were all alone on the campsite and felt very mighty looking out over the land and building a great fire. So good that we came back a week later to enjoy more! Saw kangaroos and a lovely sunset. Roads & sites very well maintained and easy to access even with a 2wd.

Great location to get isolated and camp out. The view of the stars was amazing. Lots of fire wood around. Will be back again.

Campsite 3
Very easy to find, feels remote, spectacular sunset and sunrise. Best part: super convenient to Kalbarri National Park; if you get up early, you can be the first at Hawk’s Head carpark. And see the sunrise on the way.

Campsite 4
The site was as described. Very private and great star viewing. Not sure if the host or previous guest left fire wood set up in the fire pit, but it made starting a fire quick and easy which was very nice. The ground was wet from rain but not muddy and there was plenty of places to pitch a tent or set up a camper van.
