Family-friendly

We live on a picturesque 700 acre property, high in the Darling Range an hour north of Perth. The property overlooks Lake Chittering with sweeping views to the horizon. The native bush here is typical of the Darling Ranges, featuring Jarrah, Marri, Wandoo, Xanthorea and Banksia.  Fed by the mighty Brockman river, the pretty Chittering Lake is almost completely obscured by vegetation. The lake features lots of birdlife including swans, wood ducks, spoonbills and wedgetail eagles.  The Chittering valley has much to offer including scenic walks and local cellar doors. The springtime is full of the region's wildflowers, and if you're visiting around October don't miss A Taste of Chittering, the food and wine festival showcasing local produce.  We have a number of campsites on offer for your relaxing holiday.

Horse Paddock camp
We really enjoyed our stay at Andrew’s property. Horse paddock camp was a really quiet, private spot. Andrew is also such a lovely host with great communication. Our dog loved it as well. Will definitely revisit again!

Site 2 - DogLeg
We had a lovely weekend at this beautiful site, unfortunately the noise from the traffic ( especially Friday night) really resonated up the hill. I would like to ensure our next stay is East facing to avoid any disruption to the serenity . A stunning view across the valley though, birds and kangaroos.

A beautiful place to camp
We loved our stay! Very beautiful space with plenty of privacy and great trails for long walks. Andrew was very welcoming and showed us to our spot, even offering wood for our stay. From the moment you arrive you can tell Andrew takes great care and pride in his property and it has the most amazing views. We can’t wait to return and this time will stay longer.
