Kangamia is a beautiful re-vegetated permaculture-style property planted over 35 years. Plantings include; Two hardwood timber plantations, a beautiful oak grove, a lovely olive grove, a bambooserie, citrus and macadamia orchards, and of course, the picturesque dam. The property is home to amazing bird life and absolute tranquility. Our location also offers the most magical starry skies on a clear night. It's a total escape from the worries of the world. Well-behaved four-legged friends are allowed to stay too! Just please ensure they don't don't chase the wildlife or our sheep.Dam View Bamboo Site is a picturesque and private location surrounded by shade trees, open areas, olive trees, a dam view, bamboo grove, abundant bird life and flat areas for tents and caravans. The property is also our home, so we expect you to respect our privacy and not walk around near our house up the hill from the campsite. There is also a second house on the property which is another private space.

Myself, Hubby and our furbaby loved being the only guests on site. We were nested amongst the olive trees , surrounded by nature. It was wonderful to be woken by the birds in the morning.

We’ll be back!
We loved our time here! Being only one site, we had privacy and serenity. We loved awakening to the sounds of birds. Our furbaby loved the grassed area for running and playing with his ball. The hosts were exceptional! They went over and above to help us with a flat battery. We’ve already rebooked to go back next month! Highly recommend this camp.

Stargazing is the Best-ever
Beautiful tall trees when you drive down to the camp-site and greeted with many birds on arrival. The camp-site was very private and having the simple things like a compost toilet and shelter for your tent is perfect. I was with my dog Xena and we enjoyed the fire. My favourite is stargazing. Complete darkness for viewing is why I love camping, we dont do this simple pleasure when your at home. I got more than I bargained when I was stargazing with some unusual lights crossing the sky. I think Balingup is the place to witness such a viewing, haha. Not much sleep that night but what an experience. The cost for 1 person is a little pricey compared to a caravan park but you can have more people. Thank you

We had a lovely relaxing weekend camped among the olive trees, listening to the frogs at night and watching the birds during the day. Lisa made us feel very welcome and was happy to show us her creations in the studio. Looking forward to when we can book again.

Outstanding peace and serenity. Felt like home especially the sound of frogs at night, olive grove, bambooserie and huge eucalyptuses, and many birds too. My wife and I enjoyed the privacy and our dog Betty loved it too. Lisa the host is engaging, and very knowledgeable about this special environment. We felt very welcome at this property and the greeting from her dog Edie was delightful too! Can't wait to go back. Thank you Lisa and G Edie :)
