The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rocklicffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. You can choose to book one of our newly levelled bays where you will be amongst the vines, or you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock opposite the cellar door during summer when it is dry. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 12-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays. We have 5 newly levelled gravel sites that run up the side of the vineyard and a 6th site at the rear of the main carpark, below the levelled bays. As the sites are not numbered when you arrive you can pick whatever site is available. If all 5 gravel sites alongside the vineyard are taken you will need to park on the gravel just below the levelled bays. During the summer when it is dry you can park your van or pitch your tent in the paddock across from the cellar door which is our overflow camping area if the levelled bays are booked out. There are no facilities, so you will need to be self-contained with your own camp toilet and take all waste with you when you go.  The land is gently undulating, so you may require leveling with chocks.  The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat the kids to Gelato and Fudge.

Camps, wine and pizza
The perfect spot to set up for a night or two. Host Steve was super welcoming and loves to share his vast wine knowledge to thoes that are interested. With some absolutely amazing wines to taste, plus if you are hungry there are amazing Woodfire Pizzas and Gelato. Would 100% recommend.

Steve is an excellent host with a great sense of humor. We enjoyed a wine tasting in the cellars, complemented by delicious pizza. It was a unique experience staying in a vineyard, surrounded by stunning scenery. Estonian, Michael and the mum

Lulled to sleep with frog songs!
It wasn’t what I expected but it grew on us! 5 sites, plus one overflow spot which if we had been stuck with would not be happy! If you have sites then only sell 5. However it had a fabulous pizza cooking facility and some even more delicious wines. Banked by vines and not in them as I had pictured we would be. Would we go back? Yes we would, peaceful at night except for the frogs!

Great vibes among the vines
We loved staying at Rockliffe winery. We stayed 3 nights. It was a good base for exploring the Denmark area. Steve and the staff were really welcoming and the place had a good vibe. Excellent wines, reasonably priced and great woodfired pizza. Highly recommended this place. .

Stopped for 1 night. Would've stayed for more. Nice off the beaten path with level sites and lots of grass. The smell of pizza at night didn't hurt either! Would definitely stay again.
