This property was owned by an Italian family who came to Australia in the 30's. We bought the house in Aug 2021 and fell instantly in love with it and all its quirkiness. The original cottage is still on site and is a long term renovation project for us, it may be old but holds lots and lots of history behind them walls. The verandah area is yours to use, if you wish, for a bit of extra room to escape the rain or provide a bit of shade (depending on season) it has a powerpoint and light for your convenience. Unfortunately, as there are building works happening at the back of the cottage we have closed access to the toilet area for your safety at this time.A private property on two acres , full of trees and birds. We are situated close to a local shop if you need supplies, the town centre and beaches are 7 minutes away if you want to swim or partake in any watersports.  You will need to be a self-contained camper who brings their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, electric , a picnic table and rubbish facilities. Outside of fireban season you're welcome to warm your toes around the campfire. There is plenty of shade on site and a lovely area outside the original cottage built in 1932 which is nice and shady if you want to just sit and relax or cook there.  Pets allowed

What a beautiful spot to stay in Geraldton! We especially loved the chooks and the kids loved playing with the friendly doggos. Thankyou Erika and Alan for having us

Fantastic hosts and great camp
Erica and Alan are the nicest people you could ever expect to meet. Their hospitality was great and the camp area is really good with plenty of shade if required. Location is very handy to town which has most things travellers require Geraldton has plenty to offer with great beaches and a visit to the museum is a must

Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
We had a wonderful time at this place! Well worth the money….to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet (8 mins from the centre of Geraldton), on a large open space, listening to the birds and getting to know the friendly free range chooks. Plus, we were not packed in like sardines in a typical caravan park, and really loved our hosts Erica and Allan - super friendly people! We much preferred this option while staying in Geraldton.

Peaceful Shaded Cottage Garden
A lovely , peaceful and comfy stay. Erica & Alan were fantastic hosts who made us feel very welcome whilst still giving us enough privacy. We loved the friendly chooks and their lovely dogs who came to say hello each day. Affordable price with inclusions of power and water and we felt nice and safe here tucked away in a little garden oasis just out of town. Definitely recommend! ☺️

Flat ground, shaded by big trees, Alan and Erica friendly and helpful. We loved the wandering chooks and meeting Erica's x2 doggies. Power and water topped off the list Only about 7 Minutes to Geraldton
