Horseneck Beach Campground

Overall a great place to camp for a rare oceanfront experience. The pros: Great views, beautiful beach with amazing sunsets, bike paths and swimming.
The cons: Lax security, not very clean and things can get a bit noisy with generators and such. None of the sites have electricity and there is shared water. There are only a few "private" sites available with most sites being very open.

But in all honesty, the beauty trumps it all. It is still well worth a visit. Plan ahead as waterfront sites are hard to book. BUT.... I have found if you check availabilty regularl, it's possible to snag a site laat minute after some inevitable cancellations.
