Description
Pegasus North provides out-of-this-world camping in a 5,200-foot, otherworldly setting. As the name implies, the campground can be found at the north end of the park, near a trailhead. Take a hike or bike to check out some of the unbelievable volcanic rock formations. And before you hit the hay, be sure to peek at the sky’s brilliant nighttime display.

Used to come with my parents and sisters. They would hang out by the RV and relax and we'd all go explore the rocks and do some low key bouldering. It never got old and they do have a telescope where they do evening star talks so be sure and check the calendar. The starts are amazing even without their assistance.

Amazing place! Most sites are secluded because of all the rocks. A nice hiking trail starts near the campsites. Plan on a night of stargazing.
