Just say it: Wahoo Bay. You’re having fun already! Wahoo Bay Campground keeps it basic, with nothing to distract you from the good times available out on Fort Gibson Lake. This little collection of sites may not offer much in the way of frills, but it makes for a perfect quiet lakeside location, plus it’s wheelchair accessible. You’ll feel like you’ve got the lake all to yourself. What else is there to say? Wahoo!

We reserved a tent spot here for the weekend of June 7-9. The pics were nothing like the reality. The grass was overgrown and so was the access to the water. We drove through, left and booked elsewhere.

The lake was gorgeous and the other campers were very respectful at this place. It's free to camp but make sure to stop by the host to resister so they can keep track of how it's being used.
