South Shore

Grab that headlamp, because there’s no electricity in these here parts. Of Trinidad Lake State Park’s two campground, South Shore is the smaller, quieter option. These snazzy little sites are just a quick walk away from the water. What more do you need?! Well, if you still aren’t sold, just imagine waking up to the wild mountains of southern Colorado. You take a deep breath of mountain air before heading to Lake Trinidad for a full day out on the water. Maybe you even do your own rendition of the Lonely Island’s “I’m on a Boat” while racing around the lake. It’s your call! No matter how you spend your days, you’ll be glad to have this campground to return to in the evening.
