Our remote off grid property in the forest east of Eagle Lake is a great place to disconnect and decompress. The roadside Bunkie sleeps 4 and can accommodate a RV trailer or tent as well. Pets are welcome. The property has a pit toilet, and campfires are allowed in the designated pit. There is also potable water in the bin with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ area. In the winter water would have to be stored inside. Linen not provided. You’ll wake up surrounded by trees and can explore the great hiking, nature viewing, atv trails and boating in the summer months. In the winter enjoy glaming in the propane heated bunkie, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow machine trails at the door. Wildlife is all around. Several lakes and parks are nearby, including Mikisew Provincial Park on Eagle Lake, about 20 km south, where you can go boating, paddling, or swimming and Algonquin Provincial Park is close as well with many lakes and hiking trails. Some restaurants and stores can be found in the South River, about 20 km away.

Along the other side of the lake you may see some of our resident dogs, ducks and geese. All very friendly farm animals just waiting for their next treat. There are walking trails nestled in amongst the bushes and 2.5 km sandy track that surrounds the lake for any running enthusiasts or if you want to take a leisurely walk and enjoy the surroundings of our property. A small walking trail meanders through our property and we are avid birders, having once owned a wild bird nature shop We welcome any self contained travel trailer or RV's.
