You will have access to clean water to swim in (no soaps or detergents in the pond please, we also swim in the pond regularly so we might see you in there!), clean water to drink + wash dishes in, lots of safe flat parking for cars and camper vans, lots of safe flat grass for tents, a giant forest, views of a few beautiful horses doing their own thing on our pastures (do not feed them or go within the fenced off horse areas), loads of birds, dragonflies, butterflies and more! We require quiet after 9pm, and before 9am. No excessive substance use please. No substance use if you are going to swim. Private simple camping toilet/outhouse setup with view of nature. Water for washing hands. No shower. We moved here because we thought it was beautiful, and we hope to share that with others. We live here, and enjoy the water and land every day. Be sure to visit the local area, we are within a 15 minute drive of several restaurants, grocery store and LCBO. The Kirkfield Lift Lock, Fenelon Falls, Balsam Lake Provincial Park and Lindsay are all within a 30 minute drive. There are miles of paved country roads for biking or walking. You are also welcome to explore the property, see what vegetables are growing, enjoy the flower gardens, find the chickens, hear a rooster crow. Enjoy your evening sitting around a campfire telling stories or listening to the tree frogs. The dark night sky is ideal for star gazing. Farm fresh produce is available for purchase in season as well as small batch maple syrup from our own trees. We are 18 minutes (20km) from the Lindsay Exhibition, September 14th to 22nd, and the International Plowing Match, October 1st to 5th , 2024. Please Note: We are in an active farming area so expect the sounds and smells that go along with being in the country. Local country road traffic can be heard at times. There are no bathroom facilities available. Dogs are welcome but they must be always on leash as we have a cat, chickens and wildlife that roam the property. We also ask that you clean up after your pet. Campfires are permitted unless there is a ban in effect. We have seasonal insects we recommend you arrive prepared. Boyd Conservation Area

Kortright Centre for Conservation

When to go

Expect large crowds around Concord during summertime weekends and special holidays, including Canada Day. The day-use facilities at Sibbald Point Provincial Park are especially crowded during long weekends and summer, so you must book your spot in advance. Concord-area parks and conservation sites offer limited services throughout winter, but many are open for skiers and snowshoers. It’s best to confirm opening hours before you go.
