The Eternal Campground

2 miles from and on the same road as Chestnut ridge Park, home of the Legendary Eternal Flame. Only campground in Orchard Park. A humble 3 acres but we offer very intimate sites. There are only 6 sites with all of them having access to the creek, and a recreation area featuring a volleyball/badminton net, cornhole, and at night there is a mini outdoor movie theater with a 10 foot screen where we play a movie when the sun goes down depending on the audience.
Park on the road outside the white lines or directly on the side lot where it says Park. Follow arrows to get to site, I will most likely be able to meet you at entrance though to show you around.

Tomtuga on the Erie Canal

Thank you for looking at what I have to offer.
We love to have fun here. Which is why we call our little campground Tomtuga. It is sort of a reference of the Caribbean pirate island of Tortuga, except my name is Tom. I'm here mostly for the canal and living the pirate life but there have been sightings of Bigfoot and his cousin Yeti. They show up once in awhile to keep things interesting.
Here at Tomtuga we are 2 acres with the Erie Canal across the front on a quiet street and the Genesee Valley Transportation, a local shortline railroad across the backyard. Boat season is May - Oct. Train runs mostly just two days a week all year. Step out and give the boats and trains a friendly wave.
We are a hard packed base that can handle the very large RVs.
Campsite #1 is where the 50amp / 30amp / 110 electric outlets are.
Campsite #2 is the only area that has a "good" grassy spot. There is no electricity here at this site.
With only two campsites, along with my RV here, it is a rather peaceful camp. There are no bathrooms here, so I'm sorry but no tent camping available.
We offer ''Buddy Camping'', in which if you are traveling with friends in a 2nd RV / camper. I allow you to both camp on the same campsite or split and use both sites. We can rent more campsites in our ''Overflow Site #3'', if you have more than two campers coming. Either way you will then need to rent both sites. You can also use tents in the grass area, if you brought them with you.
Also if you don't need power, like you have solar or batteries etc. I might allow you to park anywhere on our two acres. You can check the property out before setting up.
I allow 2nd vehicles or also ''toads'' on the campsites too at no charge.
I'm Ok if you show up early from an overnight drive to the site and park in the main driveway. If there are not any previous campers onsite, I might let you into the site. Just let me know beforehand.
*No bathrooms on the property! You must have self contained units! When I get the bathroom built, this will change.
**Again, NO Bathrooms here! If you try to book posing as a ''campervan'' but just a van or staying in a cardboard box on a trailer, don't book here. Please go stealth camp at Walmart, they have bathrooms and are free to overnight. I wouldn't pee in your yard.
No water hookups. No dumpstation either. We have free WiFi. Firewood available for $5 a bundle or bring your own. The local gas station has small bundles down the street for $8 each.
* Please ask me before you let any of your dogs off leash. If there are other campers here, we all need to be in agreement on this. For their children and pets safety too.
I do allow multiple dogs here.
Again, please clean up after them. Do NOT just toss it into my woods or the canal.
Nice small canal town here with local eateries, including two pizza places; two bars and a breakfast lunch spot / laundromat / hardware store / Dollar General / gas station. We have a veterinary in town too. All within a short walking distance.
NYS Bike path on the opposite side of the canal, goes from Buffalo to Albany. Some 350 miles.
Also a free NYS Canal boat ramp 1,800ft to the east, on our side of the canal.
So bring your bikes / kayaks / boats / fishing poles. Rentals available in Lockport. Worms available at the hardware store in town.
We are also open during the winter season, Uh yep. Please message me before hand because it depends on the snow depth if I'm letting campers in.

There is one 20 minutes south, just off the NY Thruway at the Flying J Truck Stop. 8484 Allegheny Rd, Pembroke. It is in the RV fuel island. Costs is $10. Get the code inside.

Hey if you could, when on the booking page it asks you to "Say Hello". Please tell me what kind of camper you are coming in like an RV or trailer and the size. It asks you that question right above that but I don't receive that info till much later.

Lots of people asking so, we are 30 miles from Niagara Falls. Very easy ride there and back using NYS Rt 104. This route goes along the Niagara escarpment with lots of farms stands and a few wineries.
Most of my guests use my campsites as a basecamp to then go and explore Niagara Falls or even day trip to Toronto Canada 106 miles away. I provide a list of local NY info / places to visit in Canada and my experience on crossing the border.
My camp to downtown Buffalo is 38 miles.
To downtown Rochester is 51 miles.
Lake Ontario Olcott Beach is 17 miles.
Letchworth NYS Park 60 miles.
We are 42 miles to the Buffalo Bills (Highmark Stadium).

Hwy. 3 is not busy during the day, and evenings traffic drops off to almost nothing. Very rural farming/ranching area. No agricultural, ranching or spraying nearby, though.
There's lots of blue-green Serpentine stone here, hence the name "Rock Farm."
We are an organic farm so we take care to use non toxic agriculture.
Fresh spring water provided, we offer primitive camping and are developing some more luxurious sites. Dark nights with no light pollution gives great sky watching. Mountain views in daytime. Very quiet at night, and safe. Near beautiful Kangaroo Lake and Mount Shasta. Quiet and peaceful, pristine. Formerly Munson Mill, which closed in the 70''s.

Farmer's market in Etna Saturday morning. Not far from PCT trailhead outside of Callahan CA. If you need a ride from there, call and we'll pick you up if possible for $20. We are a former homestead with a swimming pond, two beautiful art campers and camp spots. We are on the wild Chautauqua Ridge with trails in the woods, abundant wildlife, and are located near many places to explore: Lake Erie, Amish trail, excellent fishing, local farms, and beautiful hiking. We are on a dirt road very secluded and quiet but not far away from main traveling routes.
The two campers are custom built and decorated by artists, very comfortable unheated glamping accommodations. There is one gravel pull off site for a small RV or camper van, and the rest of the sites are dispersed camp sites. We have delicious spring water for you fill up and enjoy at the farmhouse, with no running water at the sites. Toilets are primitive, and we can provide firewood on request. Located on a small homestead farm with free range chickens, ducks, cantankerous geese, as well as dwarf goats, honey bees and a blind dog--so please drive slowly. Farm encompasses a mature hardwood forest, large organic vegetable garden, pollinator gardens, plant nursery, fruit and nut trees and shrubs. A diverse population of wild birds visit and nest here, including our summer pond resident green heron. A creek with waterfall runs through the property. Cabin is on the edge of a tree-lined pond. Host will meet with you upon arrival to give overview of land layout. We live and work here, but will respect your privacy and space. We ask that you please do the same, which includes all the living inhabitants here.
We are in farm country, so at times there may be tractors, manure spreading, mowing, etc. in nearby fields. Also, the frogs make quite a ruckus on the pond in the evening.

Overview
About
Navy Island National Historic Site is a heavily wooded, uninhabited island on the Canadian side of the Niagara River just above Niagara Falls, Ontario. In the 1760s, Navy Island became the first British shipyard to serve the Upper Great Lakes and, during the Rebellions of 1837, was the seat of William Lyon Mackenzie’s exiled government. The island features many surviving archaeological resources. Official recognition refers to the entire island. The site is not open to the public.
When to go
The best time to visit the area around Navy Island National Historic Site is during the warmer months, from late spring to early autumn, when the Niagara River's beauty is at its peak. Winter can be harsh, with the river's surroundings often blanketed in snow, making access and visibility challenging.
