Escape city life with an off grid bunkie set on 48 acre farm that backs onto the Cheltenham Badlands in Caledon
Ontario. The bunkie is set on the one of hills on the property. Enjoy the private area nestled amongst growing trees including a walking trial to take in nature.
Wildlife include deer, turkeys, foxes and coyotes. Cabin is completely off grid with no water, electricity or solar power (potable water provided). Guests are required to bring all camping supplies,When you arrive, you will have access to the farm laneway during your stay and will park by the shed and will need to walk through a farmers field (there is a slight elevation to reach bunkie) for five minutes to get to bunkie location. We can provide transportation to the site with a John Deere gator upon request. 12 ×8 bunkie with wooden deck to enjoy your morning coffee and listen to the birds. Beds include a double and twin with 6 inch gel/foam mattress. Twin mattress is on top bunk requiring to climb a ladder for access. Clean fitted sheets are included. You will need to bring all your camping supplies, including bedding, cookware, flashlights and drinking water. Picnic table and fire pit are on site. A Coleman camping stove can be provided if needed with a one propane cylinder. Additional cylinders are available to purchase at $10 each. Potable water only One bag of firewood with kindling is included. If you need to purchase more firewood it is $10 a bag. We follow the town of caledon fire bans if any. 4 Adirondack chairs for outside Use. Private out house with toilet paper and hand sanitizer. A small push light is in outhouse, but it is suggested that you bring either a headlamp or flashlight. This space is suitable for people who want to camp without a tent. Cell service is excellent with a Rogers network. At night, you can hear the coyotes howling as they run through the back of the property. Flashlights or headlights are required, as there are no lights at night at the bunkie/ outhouse sites.
