We are a working cattle ranch about 10 minutes drive off of HiWay #1. You’re surrounded by wildlife and outdoor activities just as you step out of the door. We offer lots of privacy. During most of your stay, you will think there’s no one on the ranch but you! We’re close to a golf course, about 40 minutes to Canmore, one hour to Banff, and 40 minutes to Downtown Calgary. Perfect for day trips for activities other than camping. Our cows are tame, but not house pets, especially when they have their calves near by! They’ll be curious, but then go back to munching on grass.

James has a beautiful peaceful bit of land we were so happy we got to stay on. Had a lovely morning visit from the cows as well.

The Meadow - Cabin, Bunkhouse
Such a great experience! We loved watching the cows from our front porch and spent a lovely day on the lake canoeing and kayaking. James is great and even invited us to help feed his fish.

The Bend
We loved camping on James’s property! It was very private and the views were beautiful. The cows were friendly and definitely a highlight! James was a caring host who provided everything we needed, would certainly recommend this to anyone looking to camp!
