Nice area with a great view of the sunset. Slightly difficult to locate since there was no address but the host provided coordinates and directions. One of the issues I would point out is that we were on one end of the site and the communal fire pit, washroom and water area was on the other end, so it wasn’t as accessible since there were other campers settled in that spot. We felt a bit uncomfortable intruding since it was like the area was already taken up and claimed by the campers. So we only used the site to sleep and settle for the night without using the other amenities. Maybe if the shared amenities were more central we probably would have used it but it was also just uncomfortable since the other campers weren’t as welcoming when we came. There was a misunderstanding on the directions and some confusion so we accidentally entered their site but as soon as we realized we moved before even setting up. Maybe having sites labeled would have been nice since we didn’t know how far a part each site was. So overall, the stay was nice after we moved and settled away from them. We enjoyed the rest of our stay since we really just wanted a site to car-camp.

We had a great time at Jack and Emmy’s place. Jack was super easy to communicate with and took great care of us. The site was spacious and had a lot of room for kids to run around (which is rare in the other campgrounds in the Drumheller area). Can’t wait to come back sometime!

Quiet get away
Great place to relax and unwind. Probably a total of 5 vehicles drove down the road the whole time we stayed, so no fear of heavy traffic. Large open grass area to stay with a great fire pit. There is also a warm caravan with a flush toilet, a really nice plus with the wet weather we had. About 15 minutes to town so accessible. Jack is a very welcoming host. We will happily stay there again next time we are through.

Stay here. Definitely stay here. :)
OMGosh, what a great place! The campsite is a firm rolling grassy area. Surrounded by fields as far as you can see, with wind turbines in the distance. The only noise that we woke to were the birds. Heard coyotes at night and pheasants in daytime. Easy drive to surrounding area of badlands. Jack was so accommodating. He let us stay even though our overall rig length was 50’. We had no trouble finding a spot to level near the fire pit (which Jack even stocked with wood). Spent three blissful days & nights there. Would do it again for sure!
