The Oasis
Exceptional Stay
This was our first Hipcamp stay, so I was a but apprehensive, but very happily surprised. Berny is an incredible host, she was very kind, and clear in her communication, when we arrived, there were other open sites, so she gave us a few options for where exactly we wanted to pitch our tent for our stay. This was really great for us, as my wife is pregnant, so her mobility and comfort were a big concern for us. Unfortunately, we got rained out and had to cut our trip a bit short, but the stay was still excellent. We found there to be sufficient privacy in the camp, though some sites are more secluded than others. Despite the privacy, there was still great access to water and washrooms.

Sunset Boulevard
Best place I've camped at
We had an AMAZING time out at this campsite. There was so much room between campsites and lots of privacy. There's even quite a few campsites to choose from which is pretty cool. You can always message them and tell them what you're looking for and Bernie is glad to help! There's so much ground to uncover that we spent hours out there and even still we didn't see it all. The weather wasn't great but that really didn't matter because the place was so much fun to be in. I highly recommend the food Bernie cooks because it's simply so delicious. We had the chicken pot pie and also some cinnamon buns! She even threw in some carrots cake which was mouthwatering 🤤
It was very magical to be out there.

The Ponderosa
Would stay again and again, oh wait, I already did! Berny was wonderful and accommodating! The site was clean, well graded, private and beautiful! The food was delicious and warm!

Great experience with lovely hosts.
Berny &. Stuart were simply the most delightful camp hosts! They communicated very well before our arrival so we knew exactly where to go, then met us at the entrance to escort us onto the property. The site wasn’t busy due to early season, so they gave us our choice of sites to pick from. We chose Sunset boulevard since it was the most private. It was lovely and close to a very clean and fresh smelling (really!) “outhouse” which was actually a portajohn that was very cleverly clad in wood to make it appear classically rustic. Very nice!
Stuart had also carved a beautiful log couch for enjoying the sunset, but since we had been driving all day and there was rain coming, we unfortunately had to pitch camp pretty quickly and then hit the sack. They had given us nice directions around the property to enjoy some views but we just didn’t have time to enjoy them. Next time!

The Hang 10
The hosts were both welcoming when we arrived. The site was spacious, clean and easy to access. The pot pie and fresh veggies with homemade dressing were delicious and just what we needed after a long day! We were very pleased and recommend this Hipcamp!
