Welcome to Camas Creek Retreat, a secluded nature getaway 40 minutes outside Victoria BC. We are steps from Sitting Lady Falls, birdwatching at Witty's Lagoon, and some of the best hiking in BC. Bring your bike and coast down the hill to the Galloping Goose bike trail, go swimming at Matheson Lake, plunge into the Sooke Potholes, or visit one of the many beautiful farm stands in Metchosin and of course....llamas! Our property sits on two acres of Douglas fir forest and Garry Oak meadow. Camas Creek runs under a little bridge as you enter our lane. Watch for woodpeckers, ravens and birds of all types here. Nature and tranquility is all around.Welcome to Camas Creek Retreat. Here you will have a cozy writer's cabin all to yourself. You'll find a fully stocked outdoor kitchen, new bathroom facilities and an outdoor hot shower. The cabin sleeps two comfortably with a pullout mattress for a third. Your privacy is assured with an enclosed courtyard and forest all around. Your experience is surrounded by the native landscape of southern Vancouver Island, wildflowers in the spring and deer on your front porch (sometimes literally). Come summer our garden is full of fruits and flowers and even on a hot day, the breeze is cool. A stay at Camas Creek Retreat is a relaxing getaway from the everyday.

Camas Creek Retreat

We absolutely loved the well-equipped outdoor kitchen—it had everything we needed! The entire place was spotless, and the surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. There are farm animals within walking distance, which is a fun and unique experience for kids, as well as a nice golf center nearby. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend staying here for a memorable and enjoyable getaway!

Camas Creek Retreat

Heloise’s cabin was cozy and well-equipped. I loved cooking in the roomy kitchen and showering next to the ferns. Heloise was a warm and welcoming host, and we dined in her fresh vegetables. The perfect spot.

Very friendly and helpful hosts. Beautiful property. Quaint and thoughtful place to stay. We loved the outdoor kitchen and shower. Lots of nice coastline and rivers to check out near by. Can say hello to some chickens :)

This was such a wonderful and relaxing experience. Our host was super attentive, kind and gave us plenty of privacy while letting us know she was onsite for any questions or concerns. We will absolutely be back! And the outdoor shower was AMAZING 💕

I recently stayed at Camas Creek while looking for a retreat in Victoria, and I’m so glad I chose this place! It was the perfect size for the two of us—quiet, peaceful, and exceptionally clean. One of the highlights was the outdoor hot shower, which added a unique and refreshing touch to the experience. The whole stay was incredibly pleasant, offering a calm and relaxing atmosphere that made our time there truly special. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a serene getaway!
