Bigl Bar Lake getaway.
Loved the campsite. Location, location, beautiful sunset views. refreshing swims. The paddle boat was a hit. Clean, welcoming, gorgeous sites. Katie the host was awesome & attentive. Highly recommend.

The Sunset Knoll Site
Lake front paradise
What a gem. I expected lake views, which were indeed amazing, but a hammock! A canoe! A giant covered shelter on an elevated platform! It was like the coziest summer camp imaginable. This site was exactly as described, maybe even undersold. Other sites nearby would also have been great, not too crammed together and all with shared lake access. Very clear directions. Better signage on site than most airports (even the firewood bins were neatly labeled in the same charming tone of blue!). It is quite a ways down a dirt road, but it was well maintained in most places; I wasn’t worried with only front wheel drive, and what awaits you at the end is well worth the bumps and dust. I will certainly be back!

I had an incredible time at this lakeside camp! The setting was picturesque, with serene views of the lake and cozy evenings around the fire pit. Everything about the experience was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Perfect Dog Friendly Camp Site
Camp site was really beautiful and you can tell Katie puts a lot of care into the property. The outhouse was well kept and the shared dock was really great for relaxing, swimming and getting out on the water in their shared kayaks, canoe or paddle boat. We usually bring our own kayak but it was a treat not to have to pack it. They provide everything you need including life jackets. It was a perfect dog friendly getaway. We unfortunately had to leave a night early but the one night we stayed the loon calls were relaxing and the property was quiet. The lake had some noisy neighbours but nothing that went out of control too late into the evening. The lake itself is stunning with amazing sunsets to look out from the camp site or on the dock! We would definitely come back again given the chance. Katie was very helpful and answered all our questions ahead of the visit.

Lovely place to visit!
We loved it there! The look out site in a tipi style tent was perfect! We had hoped for the sunset knoll site but our plans didn’t fall through and Katie was gracious enough to set us up and made it so that we could still make it out there with a place to sleep! We had the grounds to ourselves and was so peaceful and quite. Our two pups loved it and the lake is beautiful! The weather didn’t really cooperate but we loved it just the same. Definitely will be booking for next year, for the sunset knoll!!
